Before installing a water-to-water heat pump, a hydrological study is conducted to assess the quality and location of the groundwater. Is it possible to find out where similar studies have already been carried out near my property, so I can avoid the cost of commissioning another one? Of course, I would be willing to reimburse the original study provider for part of their expenses.

I think the local water authority in your district should know something like this.

There is a "drilling point register" for Lower Saxony. This includes, among other things, drillings for heat pumps (which I have just verified). In some cases, the drill casings are also included.

No idea which federal state you are looking at.
