Despite some experience researching construction company websites, I was unable to find any actual photographs of customer homes or other valid references here. Ordering a catalog is offered, but I couldn't even find a mention of a detailed scope of work. The terms under which a limited liability company (UG) could obtain a completion guarantee seem quite unattractive to me. Especially in the Berlin area, there should be plenty of competitors – what do you particularly like about this provider?

We have already had an initial conversation with them and were actually quite impressed. Our desired floor plan was drafted and optimized, and now an offer is being prepared. We have also received a detailed scope of work description.
Since I can’t find any reviews of Aurea, we still feel somewhat uneasy. However, so far, their approach and customer service have convinced us.
Regarding alternative companies in the area, I can only say that we have had one other initial meeting with Heinz von Heiden. It was pleasant, but there the impression was that they wanted to push us into a standard template and were less willing to carry out individual planning. At least, that was how it appeared to us.
Other companies we contacted out of interest either stopped responding or came across as not very professional or likeable.
Despite everything, we will try to get at least one more offer for comparison. However, apart from the concerns mentioned above, Aurea remains our top choice for now. Of course, we are still waiting for the offer.
The favorite Heinz of @fach1werk is probably a textbook example of having bad luck even with big names ;-)
Maybe you should introduce yourself and your building project in the forum; you’ll find plenty of good advice here. By the way, there are several people from Berlin and the surrounding Berlin area active here.

We are still completely inexperienced when it comes to building a house. In that case, it would be a big mistake to simply settle for collecting a second or third bid; instead, you should introduce yourselves with exactly the details you shared with the suppliers during the planning discussion. (At the top of the floor plan section, there is a questionnaire – if you fill it out and post it in your introduction thread, the forum members will practically help you design your house—not just regarding the layout).https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/
