Hello,
we have planned to attach some back cushions to the wall behind my daughter’s bed. We want to use regular square floor cushions that have a kind of loop on one side. You probably know the type of cushions I mean. But what is the best way to fix them to the wall? Are there special hooks for this, or how is it usually done? We want to make sure she doesn’t hit her head on the hooks when leaning back. I would be very grateful for any tips. 🙂

Hello gatita,

I’m not exactly sure which cushions you mean at the moment, but there are small hooks with rubber edging at the ends that you can buy at any hardware store. They come quite close to the wall, and you can still hang your loop on them. Thanks to the rubber coating, nobody can really get hurt. Good luck!

Best regards, rosanne

Hello gatita,

If I were you, I would ask at a hardware store, as there are special adhesives that you can apply to the wall and later remove easily at any time. Otherwise, there are only hooks with rubber, as rosanne already mentioned.

Hello Gatita! I also used to have posters like that on the wall above my couch. I also had hooks with a rubber tip on top. I never bumped my head on them, so I would definitely recommend that.

Yes, I’m familiar with these hooks – you can screw them directly into the wall, just like screws. However, I don’t know of any that you can use with adhesive. By the way, from my experience, these hooks are quite practical. With the rubber coating, there’s no risk of injury.

So, I also tried using cushions on hooks, but I definitely found it uncomfortable... you can’t get pierced by the elastic, but you still bump your head against it... taken down again already!
