Hello everyone,
my wife and I do not want a plastered wall at the front of the garage.
We are thinking of something with a wood finish.
Can WPC decking boards be used for this, or do they need to be "special" boards?

During the day, we are in the shade in front of the house, so there is no direct sunlight.

I don’t think there will be any issues with the floorboards. If you like them, it should be possible to install them securely with the appropriate substructure for fixing the boards.

No problem. That works. The drip edges are not ideal when placed crosswise. I would bevel the whole thing slightly—apart from the fact that I avoid plastic and would go for wood straight away.

Of course, it is possible. Whether it looks good is something you have to decide for yourselves. I wouldn’t do it, though, and would opt for classic rhombus cladding instead.

I’m not sure either; there are thousands of options to cover a wall, so I don’t see why one would use a flooring material for that. Additionally, flooring is generally constructed to be more durable and is probably more expensive, which isn’t necessary for walls.

The floorboards are supposed to be installed up to the front garage wall.
I have also been thinking about the rough baseboards, but the budget needs to work as well.
How did you cover them?
