I have a general question! Do you need a contract with the architect for the planning and renovation of a house? Usually, contracts are only made with the contractors through a work contract, right?
Is an architect who waives a contract with the client unreliable?
How was it in your experience?
Best regards

Why are you signing contracts at all? Maybe the architect has the same reason.
PS: When in doubt, don't feed the troll.

Serious question? Contracts can also be made verbally, but in case of doubt, they cannot be proven, and the architect was never at fault (or does not get paid because they were never officially hired).
P.S. Even when buying a bread roll, you are entering into a purchase contract.
