Good morning dear forum,
I would like to hear your opinions on the construction of interior walls in a new build. The options are as follows: 17.5 cm (7 inches) aerated concrete or 17.5 cm (7 inches) and 11.5 cm (4.5 inches) sand-lime brick.
What are the advantages and disadvantages of each wall construction?
How do they perform in terms of moisture regulation, sound insulation, and thermal insulation?
Best regards
Nils

And it is better with calcium silicate blocks, but don’t expect miracles – not with 11.5cm (5 inches) walls (which are still better in calcium silicate than aerated concrete), plus the doors tend to be the weak spots.
What kind of walls do you have on the outside?
