Hello,
I am also considering installing a wallbox in the garage for the new build.
What additional costs have you encountered for this extra connection?
The garage is located right next to the utility room.
Thanks, Tom

You don’t need to register an 11 kW system.
Why might you consider doing so? The mobile charging station can also be used on the go.
The CEE socket in the garage can also be used for large appliances…
A Juice Booster or similar device is a fully functional charging station.
A CEE socket should also be installed by a qualified electrician.

Such DIY solutions by amateurs are truly a nightmare for every fire insurance company...
Whether it is a makeshift solution depends on who installs it. I waited exactly six months at the company until my wallbox was installed.

CEE socket, wallbox, or both?
This thread is about wallboxes, and according to NAV, they must be registered if they are 11kW!

CEE plug registration not required. Wallbox up to 11 kW approval not required.

Wallbox up to 11 kW does not require a building permit / planning permission but still must be registered with the grid operator (cannot be rejected).
