Hello,

I am interested in a Grundfos pump, so I have a question.
Is it possible to attach a different pipe connection to it?

I need it for a hose.
The inner diameter of this hose is 10–11mm (0.4–0.43 inches).
Which parts do I need to buy to achieve this?

Regards
Sonja

In an ideal world, you would take the pump to your trusted plumbing supply store, and they would go through the shelves with you to find the right adapter pieces. Then they would assemble them for you and say "all set" after you smiled at them nicely.

Well, it doesn’t quite work out like that, but that’s roughly how I handled it once for a gas connection, and it worked.
Only the payment wasn’t settled with just an "all set" 😳

Okay, you mean this is possible.
Then I can order it online.

I believe, no, I’m sure you misunderstood me. You have a "non-standard application case." No one will simply say, "Take one of these parts, two of those, thread this part through the strap, and you’re done."
I mean (not to be confused with expert knowledge) that it’s probably possible with some creativity and a few adapters. The difference in diameter is quite significant. And I really think a local plumbing supply store can help you better.
The internet is not a cure-all solution for DIY beginners!

I don’t have a clear idea of what exactly you want to use the pump for, but take a look at “quick coupling water.” Maybe that could be something useful for you.

If so, you can find something like that at a hardware store.
