Hello everyone,
We bought a house in the Reutlingen district last year, and now it’s time to work on the garden and outdoor areas. They are currently in a completely unfinished state.

We had a landscape architect create a plan for us. Now we would like to know roughly how much this might cost (excluding the pool!). I understand it’s difficult to provide an exact figure, but a ballpark estimate like $50,000, $75,000, or $150,000 would be enough as a starting point.

Thank you very much!

Ground plan of a garden with house, garage, pool, terrace, and trees.

I also vote for around 100,000 without a pool.

As @aero2016 already mentioned, this won’t be cheap. The type and size of plants are important factors. Then you also have retaining walls, etc.
I hope you have planned for a large cistern and irrigation system.
I also see costs exceeding 100,000 without the pool.
Where is the pool equipment supposed to go? This is not an area to cut costs. For a pool, you should expect at least another 50,000 if done properly with the right equipment.

Yes, the cistern will be located under the parking area. The pool is still under discussion; if it happens, the equipment will be installed underground behind it.
Where could costs be saved?

I can only agree. The question is also what exactly will be implemented and how. (For example, is the carport already there, the seating blocks, trash containers, etc.)
Looking at the details, it’s definitely not standard.
The region is also expensive. I would also say it can easily exceed 100,000 (about 100k) even without a pool.

Unfortunately, nothing exists yet except for the garage.

Stupid question, have you taken the floor area ratio into account?
And yes, based on the details, I would also estimate over €100,000.

Hmm, what exactly is the floor area ratio? I haven't heard of it before.

I just looked it up too. I think so, since the planning was done by a landscape architect.

Now I have also googled it I already thought so, since the design comes from a landscape architect
Only if you provided her with the relevant information. Or if she obtained the details from the building authority/planning office. Although in densely built areas it is not uncommon for the floor area ratio including ancillary structures to go up to 0.8, this should be verified before a neighbor reports it to the building authority/planning office.
