The calm before the storm... we are enjoying the glow of the lights before the family arrives. Our grandchild wished for a doll’s bed for their teddy bear. It was too late to order one, so we built it ourselves. Notice the removable slatted base. The down pillow and duvet, as well as the mattress, were also handmade. A green bunny with a big nose already tried it out. The gift was a total hit.

Twinkle in our children’s eyes. Santa has just delivered the presents, while the two granddaughters are outside with grandpa and dad, looking out for the man in red. The older one is receiving a dollhouse that mom played with herself 30 years ago. The little one is getting her very own kitchen.

Yes, exactly. The new iPhones just take incredible pictures. I haven’t used our DSLR since.
