The calm before the storm... we are enjoying the glow of the lights before the family arrives. Our grandchild wished for a doll’s bed for their teddy bear. It was too late to order one, so we built it ourselves. Notice the removable slatted base. The down pillow and duvet, as well as the mattress, were also handmade. A green bunny with a big nose already tried it out. The gift was a total hit.

Quick question about the house. That’s hardwood flooring, right? And are those fake beams on the ceiling or real ones from the upper floor?

The floor is solid wood planks installed on a wooden substructure. The beams on the kitchen ceiling are purely decorative and have no structural function. Regards
