The calm before the storm... we are enjoying the glow of the lights before the family arrives. Our grandchild wished for a doll’s bed for their teddy bear. It was too late to order one, so we built it ourselves. Notice the removable slatted base. The down pillow and duvet, as well as the mattress, were also handmade. A green bunny with a big nose already tried it out. The gift was a total hit.

Great … and now I guess everyone wants the template from you 🙂Oh… I don’t have one. The four vertical wooden blocks come from an XXL Jenga game. All other strips are leftover pieces that we cut to length. Then everything was roughly held together by eye and just fit naturally. I drew the cardboard templates for the headboard and footboard using large plates as guides. I had recently practiced cutting curves extensively at a women’s workshop evening at Hornbach, so that was “my easiest task” 😀. In the end, everything was screwed together, sanded, and painted. It was fun!kati1337 schrieb:
I’m going to copy the idea of the Christmas tree in that beautiful basket. ♥The basket should be large enough to hold the tree along with its stand (slightly elevated on a paint bucket).
