Hello everyone,
I have found an interesting building plot and am currently carefully reading through the zoning plan and its explanation.
Two issues worry us, and I hope to get your opinions.
If I understand correctly, the radon level is at a maximum of 80, which is within the acceptable (healthy?) range. Still, protective measures are recommended?
Regarding the mining risk, I’m completely uncertain. There is mention of subsidence and collapse hazards as well as filled-in shafts. Does this mean I have a former landfill underneath?
How can I protect myself against these risks? What costs might arise?
What about the construction of a well, pond, and basement?
Would you advise me to look for a different plot?
Best regards,
Yours, Häuslebauer85

Neukirchen-Vluyn (if you can pronounce it correctly, you can also live there) or Kamp-Lintfort (where Alfred’s grandma lived, but you probably don’t know him), I guess Oh dear, you’ve just revealed a well-kept secret again. Since I was born and raised nearby, I had already solved this enigma. But I actually wanted to keep it a secret as well.

I don’t know Alfred and his grandma either, but I’m happy to say hello to the gentleman neighbor!I myself don’t live in KaLi like Alfred’s (probably late) grandma, nor in NV (which I can only pronounce), but in Bimsien on the Middle Rhine. And I met Alfred in a place where foxes and hares say good night to each other.https://www.instagram.com/11antgmxde/

Kamp-LintfortBy the way, it is set to become a UNESCO World Heritage site with the largest contiguous mining settlement in the world. So it is basically on its way to becoming a global city. Otherwise, it’s not the most attractive town...

Otherwise, it’s not the most attractive city... It even has a university and a cinema now.
