Hello everyone,

We are considering purchasing a plot of land through a real estate agent. The purchase of the land is linked to the construction of a turnkey house. So, we have an overall offer (land + house without additional construction-related costs).

Does anyone have experience with this? What else should we be aware of? We are uncertain about additional costs that may arise, which the agent did not mention during the construction discussion. I would appreciate any tips.

Well, if the real estate agent only wants 4,000, the plot of land is worth at most 100,000, so a lot can be done with 400,000, especially more individual, higher quality, but also more self-determined and requiring more work.

For us, the question is what costs we should realistically expect in the end. It is clear, for example, that the landscaping will require a significant budget. But at this stage, I am primarily concerned about what might happen during the construction that we have not accounted for. Perhaps someone could kindly list some possible points...

I already did! Now you need to educate yourself on what costs apply in your area.

What exactly is included in the offer? You could have asked yourself instead of trying to squeeze every detail out.

A bit of self-motivation would be good!

Thank you very much. This is exactly what I was looking for. I will take my time to read through it carefully.

And yet, contracts are signed here multiple times daily. Just look at all the terraced houses, for example. This is exactly that kind of situation. Linked transactions are not unusual

These are usually genuine property developers; therefore, there is no risk regarding additional construction costs.
