Hello everyone,
After careful consideration, we have decided to build a house using the "Lego" principle. Unfortunately, we have found very few suppliers online (actually only one) that also offer some level of support. It is important to us to always have a contact person available and to have someone present during the wall casting process. So far, we have only been able to find the company Argisol for this.
Do you know of any companies in the northern German region that offer this building method?
When I look at websites like VariantHaus or similar, it seems they only provide the materials, and the builder is then left completely on their own.

I have to be honest, I would really like to keep a construction diary to provide a detailed report/process of what it’s like to build with Neopor.
I have also considered creating a WordPress website. However, I haven’t done it yet because I doubt I’ll have the time in the evenings to keep the “internet content” updated.
Maybe I will regret our decision at some point, and if that happens, it should be well documented so others don’t make the same mistake.
But if we are completely satisfied and happy with it for years to come, then others should be able to read about it as well. There are so many people interested, yet apparently only a few actually build with it and then write something about their experience online.
Why is that?
Best regards

You basically already know my answer: I suspect that people are reluctant to admit they underestimated the ease of a self-build project. Marketing often portrays that anyone can quickly build their house with insulated concrete forms—like playing with Lego—and then just make a call to the ready-mix concrete plant, and the house is done. In reality, there is significantly more effort involved; above all, a lot of planning about what needs to go inside the wall before the concrete. Self-build optimists who skip the detailed planning often end up with concealed drainage pipes exposed in the finished walls—who wants to share that kind of mistake openly on the internet...?

So I think that when so many have failed, they look for someone else to blame and express their frustration.
But here there is probably only one sentence that counts.
Nothing ventured, nothing gained. (or lost)

But such complainers would probably rather flood online communities with messages (if one can call texts full of spelling mistakes and multiple exclamation marks !!! "messages") than provide visual proof on blogs—which at least usually require a basic legal notice with a real name—that their own work was the actual cause of the problems.
Have you really found nothing at all? For example, do the suppliers of formwork blocks not even link to those kinds of “Hans and Grete build Lego” pages?

Well, either I'm missing something or there is very little information available on this topic. Sure, there are some pictures of Isorast and similar systems, showing a family building the house themselves. However, these are quite staged and provide very limited information.
Most of the time, there are just a few photos and a little text.
