Hello,
the building specification usually states that tiles will be installed in the kitchen, bathroom, utility room, and hallway.
In our case, it says that tiles up to 50cm (20 inches) in length are included, and larger tiles will be installed for an additional cost.
Can anyone tell me approximately how much this might cost?
According to the building specification, tiles up to 35 EUR are included, and this does not affect the tile size. It is only about the additional effort for installing larger tiles.
Best regards,
Florian

Best regards, FlorianHi,
you should ask your construction company what extra charge they apply for installing larger tiles.
Our company has a kind of tiered pricing system.
For example:
From size A to B = XX EUR extra per sqm (square meter)
From size B to C = YY EUR extra, and so on.
Hello!
In our contract, it states that tiles up to 50cm (20 inches) in length are included, and larger tiles will be installed for an additional charge.
It probably won’t say that exactly there—after all, not only square tiles exist.
Can someone tell me approximately what that would cost?
Of course, your contractor can answer that. Otherwise, it mainly depends on whether the tile can still be handled by one person. Up to 60 x 60 cm (24 x 24 inches), you’ll just have more waste. Beyond that size, labor costs will roughly double.

So, I checked again.
Here is the excerpt from the scope of work description:
In our calculation, we assume tile sizes of a minimum of 15cm (6 inches) and a maximum of 30cm (12 inches). Different tile sizes or diagonal installation involve additional effort.
We will be happy to provide you with a quote upon request.
We have partially chosen tiles of 30 x 60cm (12 x 24 inches).
How does the additional effort apply in this case?
Best regards,
Florian

We have partly chosen tiles measuring 30 x 60 cm (12 x 24 inches).
What about the additional costs for that?
Best regards, FlorianThe scope of work specifies 15-30 cm (6-12 inches). 60 cm (24 inches) is not included = additional charge.
