ᐅ Paving work / terrace? How much vibrating is normal?

Hello!

Is there any DIN standard regarding the movement or looseness of patio slabs? We have 50x50cm (20x20 inches) and 60x40cm (24x16 inches) slabs installed here that, in my opinion, move quite a bit.

That’s how I feel too – but during the construction phase, we repeatedly encountered situations where as the client you think "oh my god, this is terrible," yet the standards allow quite significant tolerances. For example, the flatness of the floor...

So before I would file a complaint here, I’d prefer to have solid facts on the table. 🙂

Properly installed patio slabs wobble as little as a concrete floor slab, meaning not at all. I wouldn’t accept anything less.
