ᐅ Setting the underfloor heating – desired temperature preference

Hello dear forum,

I have the following problem in my new build.
My temperature sensor is turned all the way down.
However, I can’t tolerate the temperature in the living/dining room.
It is 25 degrees Celsius (77°F) here. How can that be?
I have already lowered the desired temperature setting on my boiler, but it doesn’t help.

I have one heating circuit for the kitchen, one for the dining room, and two for the living room. All open to one room. Is it correct or possible that all heating circuits are controlled by a single temperature sensor, or did they forget to install some?

Thank you very much!

Hot water at 43 degrees Celsius (109 degrees Fahrenheit) – no negative experiences so far with it feeling cold while showering or bathing.

The 45-55°C (113-131°F) legionella control program ensures prevention.

The following: In the living room, the room thermostat is set to level 4. My thermometer, which is 50cm (20 inches) away, shows 25 degrees Celsius (77°F). Normally, the 5 actuators of the heating circuits controlled by the thermostat should be closed, right? As far as I know, level 4 corresponds to about 20 degrees Celsius (68°F). However, all the actuators are open, and the flow rate is 1 liter per minute (0.26 gallons per minute).

Just turn down the RTR and check after 5 minutes to see if the valves are closed.

Your thermometer is not in direct sunlight and is definitely showing the correct temperature? I’ve also handled several portable ones that showed different readings in the same environment.

It depends on the room temperature controller. Sometimes these are just rough estimates.

It’s possible something is stuck.

As you can see, there are plenty of potential sources of error.

If I set the RT to 3 or so, the actuators close, but after 24 hours the floor still feels very cold.

If I set the RT back to 4, it is very warm again the next day, and the actuators do not close.
