Hello everyone,
We are planning to build a single-family house soon (Dortmund). We will also need a garage. In another thread, I found out that a prefabricated garage (6m x 6m) costs around 20,000 euros, which I find a bit high, but I guess that’s the price.
All the manufacturers of such garages also say that a prefabricated garage costs about 30-50% of a masonry garage. So, if I were to hire a construction company to build a masonry garage, it would cost around 40,000 euros? Could that be correct? What would it cost if I had someone who is a mason? Would that be worthwhile?
Best regards
Marko

Last week it arrived: the Rekers prefabricated garage. 6 x 3 m (20 x 10 feet). 7,800 gross, including everything—that is, the foundation, installation with one swing door and one side door, and Rekers plaster finish. The garage doesn’t look cheap. The plaster is slightly rough and fairly thick. I am completely satisfied.

Excuse me for asking: why??? I asked myself the same question. It’s probably cheaper, but I didn’t even know that something like this is still being installed...
