We have now been happy with our new house for 2 years. There are still a few small things to be done here and there, of course. But one thing is really frustrating. We just can’t find a lamp for the kitchen that we like.

Our requirements are not exactly simple either. We need a ceiling lamp with a brightness equivalent to about 150 W incandescent bulbs. Both of us have poor vision in the dark. That’s almost a deal-breaker. Well, besides that, our taste also seems to be quite difficult. Does anyone know good online retailers that don’t just offer the usual cheap stuff from places like OBI?

Hmm, I thought I had already replied to this topic?!?! 😕

We ordered almost all our lamps from xxx.lampenwelt.de and were very satisfied with the quality, price, and delivery. I can only recommend it.

...possibly now also dimmable. However, it gets darker, but the lamp body remains "bright white," despite the warm tone.

Only Philips offers "antique lamps," where the "filament" also becomes dimmer. Very pleasant!

You did. However, by now you should know that links are not allowed. The admin was just faster this time than Bauexperte or the other moderators. He is stricter and deals with it quickly. 😀

This time the admin was just faster than Bauexperte or the other moderators. He is stricter and acts decisively. 😀

I had – as mentioned above – deliberately not posted a link and, as far as I remember, also replaced the www with xxx.
For this approach, @Bauexperte even praised me recently, so I thought it was acceptable.

@ Jochen

That’s correct; if I remember correctly, it wasn’t about product advertising ;-)

Oh, I thought that was okay.
The original poster specifically asked for recommendations for online retailers. Since naming specific providers is generally allowed here, I wanted to take advantage of that and made sure it wasn’t a link.
How is it preferred? Only via private message?
