ᐅ Which companies offer affordable interior finishing services for shell homes?

Hey, since I have a relatively limited budget, I’m really trying to consider all options. One of my ideas: prefabricated house kits as a shell construction are usually quite affordable. If you order a kit and hire an external company to complete the work (many kits are also offered as turnkey solutions), the price could probably be a bit lower, right? Has anyone done this before? Does anyone know companies in the Berlin area that offer this?

Well, I imagine having a construction site is pretty exciting. I always say I just need a finished bathroom and kitchen; if necessary, I can even sleep in the kitchen. Everything else can wait^^ The problem then would just be where to put the furniture... not so easy :/The furniture? Just store it with one of the companies that specialize in that—climate-controlled and secure.
It doesn’t cost that much. Depends on the amount and size. With something like >> $150/month you’re covered. It can be more, of course. For me, it was only $300/month. Cheap. Almost a bargain.
Speaking from my own experience: everything comes back after a year really quickly, like new. Without a layer of dust. For the less valuable stuff, you probably know—as I do—a good friend who happens to have a very large farm. He can easily create 20–30 cubic meters (700–1,060 cubic feet) of space in an unheated barn—just don’t store anything valuable there! He can arrange that in no time. Easy. Organized on the side. After all, there are plenty of other things to deal with... Dropping stuff off: no problem. Picking it up: same...
A bathroom and a kitchen like that: usually, they're finished early in the building process... or not? Wasn’t it at the end? Let me think, how was it again? I don’t remember... oh yes: it was at the end. Right. So what you’re planning is more like camping with a gas cooker, camping stove, and a portable toilet.
You’ll find that this post deliberately combines realistic truths with some sarcastic humor. As I said, that was the intention here.

Let me say this bluntly and clearly so you finally understand.
Your dream is wonderful.
Your energy too.
BUT:
With the initial conditions you mentioned, YOU WILL NEVER BUILD A HOUSE IN GERMANY IN 2016. It simply won't work. You will ruin yourself, your surroundings, your life. Afterwards, you’ll have nothing left except a ruin… (Two ruins: the house + yourself).
Save for 10 years, then take another look.
Or buy something for around 40,000 from “going to ruin” (auction,…) and then use it for your renovation and camping holidays. At least such a fixer-upper comes with a plot of land, electricity, water, sewage… (that’s definitely something valuable!).
It can’t be that a young person is so resistant to advice and clings to a dream like this! You have zero knowledge about building and everything that needs to be done. And you think: It’s all easy. I have good ideas. Ideas – yes: great. They are a foundation, but if ideas could build a house, then a red banana connector could plug in bananas.
Thorsten
PS: And if you actually manage it… I’ll come to Berlin and treat you to beer and sausages + rolls with mustard. Personally.

This is starting to feel like a "don't feed the troll" situation. It doesn’t seem to matter what suggestions are made; the original poster doesn’t seem interested. So why ask if they already know everything and nothing poses a problem for them?If I thought this was a troll, I would have reported it to Bauexperte.
For now, I genuinely believe (perhaps naively?) that this young man is sincerely following his plan. I’ve seen this kind of thing in youth before... there are people like that. Incredibly idealistic and dreamers... (no, not me, but in my circle of friends... and it went *terribly* wrong). There are people who have a good plan—just at the wrong time, under the wrong circumstances. Yes, that really happens.
If it turns out to be a troll: we’ll find out. Then Bauexperte or other moderators will handle it. That will be useful for everyone. Being out of touch with reality is currently also my biggest enemy at work... and this is spreading rapidly. Something about building could also be said here (and stay relevant).
Best regards,
Thorsten
I’m not a troll^^ I’m looking for a serious solution. I would love to secure the plot of land I found—it would be perfect. But then I would only have the land and nothing else... and camping there long-term wouldn’t be ideal either... I think I’m the one with a good plan at the wrong time... searching for solutions... it’s not easy, but I’ll manage... somehow^^
