neo-sciliar16 Apr 2021 11:42Hello everyone,
First of all: our fixed-price contract is signed, and we are waiting for the scheduled erection date of our house. This is supposed to be in June, and the foundation slab is already completed.
Question: Has anyone already experienced that despite a signed fixed-price contract, the rapidly rising costs and occasional lack of availability affected the erection date and/or even the price?
There are rumors that companies are proactively approaching customers, saying that the house cannot be built at the agreed price. Is there any truth to this?
Good luck, sciliar

neo-sciliar16 Apr 2021 12:09I have found several threads about rising construction costs, but my focus here is specifically on those whose terms had to be changed after signing the building contract, or where there were other impacts on the construction.

or where there were other impacts on the construction.I am still waiting for the windows I ordered back in December. The latest update is delivery in May. This has a huge impact on the construction schedule during my major renovation.N

Apparently, manufacturers of prefabricated houses are more willing to adhere to the contracts.
