Hello dear forum members!
We have purchased a property built in 1972 that requires renovation, and we plan to replace all the windows. We would like to install uPVC windows. So far, we do not have any concrete offers but have contacted two companies that are interested in installing their windows. These are
a) Unilux
b) Veka
Additionally, an acquaintance recommended considering windows from a brand called Aron instead of Veka, which can be purchased through Hornbach, as their price/performance ratio is reportedly very attractive.
Since I couldn’t find any reliable tests or user reviews, I am looking for someone here who has experience with the windows mentioned above and could share their insights.
I hope for many recommendations and reports and wish you all a good start to the new year in advance.

to be completely honest, I wouldn’t cut corners in the wrong place.
1. No DIY store windows – you will use the windows for 30 years and regret every day that you chose the cheapest option.
2. No PVC windows (I am environmentally conscious) – future generations will benefit from this (waste issue aside), not to mention the energy consumption, the use of petroleum, and the harmful substances released during production.
3. Besides the price, many individual components matter when it comes to windows. I would either get advice from a professional or spend some time reading about windows in specialized literature.
Best regards
