Hello everyone,
we are currently deciding what color to choose for the window frames, front door, and roof.
For the windows, we have initially chosen white on the inside and slate gray RAL 7015 on the outside. Has anyone else chosen this color and could share their experience regarding any blue tint, preferably with a photo?
Thank you very much in advance.
Best regards

Silly question, but why did you choose that color?
I mean, you must have seen it in person somewhere, which then led you to pick that color.
I’m asking because it’s probably hard to judge something like this from a photo alone.
There are simply too many factors involved to be sure you’re seeing the actual color in the picture.
This includes the lighting conditions when the photo was taken, the color balance, and even your screen calibration.
With a decision like this, I wouldn’t want to rely solely on a photo—especially if it’s not about bright red or blue, but rather light gray or shades close to light gray for the windows.
We borrowed the entire color range from the window manufacturer. Be sure to get something like that before making your decision.

We placed the window color samples next to the façade paint swatches and alongside the roller shutters / blinds as well as the exterior window sills to coordinate them. Oh, and I almost forgot – the roof tiles were also included in the original samples (-:

Slate grey does not inherently have a bluish tint. For aluminum windows, the shades are colorfast over the long term. For uPVC windows, films are commonly used if grey tones are desired (to my knowledge except for Gealan). This can behave quite differently.

We are currently deciding on the color for the window frames, front door, and roof. When matching windows and roof tiles in the "same" tone, caution is definitely advised, especially regarding the accuracy of the match and the durability of that consistency over time.
