Telegrau refers to the RAL gray shades introduced for the Telekom brand. Telegrau 2 is the darker Telekom gray, as seen on phone booths. I wouldn’t describe it as having a blue tint, but rather as a gray with a hint of dove blue.

What do you mean by “experience”? Color perception is subjective; there is no color that everyone sees exactly the same. Therefore, there is never a clear distinction between which shade is perceived as “pure” and which as a mixture. For some, Sparkassen red already appears slightly orange, Aral blue slightly turquoise; one person might say Agip yellow and postal yellow are identical, another disagrees; and a third considers only Shell yellow as truly yellow.

We chose basalt gray RAL7012.
Although, as mentioned before, this should be approached with caution, here is a photo.

We decided on this color because anthracite would have been too dark for us. We think it’s a great solution.

@ matte1987: Yes, that was our thought as well. The basalt gray looks great in the picture! I definitely need to see it in person...
