Hans123-128 Jan 2014 14:52Hello,
The kitchen we plan to install in our house already exists and will be kept as is. However, since the electrical appliances are somewhat outdated, we want to buy new ones—a stove with an oven, a dishwasher, and a refrigerator that matches the kitchen design.
Right now, I’m specifically interested in the stove.
At the moment, we have a ceramic glass cooktop, but we are considering replacing it with an induction cooktop.
Does anyone have experience with this, especially regarding cooking performance?

Annegret-19 Feb 2014 22:05Hello Hans123.
I have an induction cooktop and am completely satisfied with it. The principle is that only the bottom of the pot is heated while the cooktop surface stays cool. For this, you need special cookware. Cooking is faster and also more energy-efficient. Personally, I wouldn’t want to do without it anymore.
Best regards

Well, an induction cooktop is a great thing. It is more expensive than other types of stoves, but you can save more energy over time because it is energy efficient. Another important point, especially if you have small children, is that they cannot burn their hands on the cooktop surface.

Hans123-110 Feb 2014 11:28Hello,
that sounds good.
I usually rely more on the experience of regular people than on advice from specialist retailers.
Often, I feel like I’m being taken advantage of and they just want to sell me the expensive items or those that need to be sold slowly but surely.
However, I will look into it more carefully, since it really is a matter of cost.

Hans123-113 Feb 2014 11:47That would certainly be good.
It’s always the ongoing costs that add up.
One dollar a day amounts to 3,650 dollars over 10 years.
I think we’ll consider it. It’s also something new, something we would have for the first time. Such purchases can be exciting, too 🙂
