Hello everyone,
we are currently planning our house construction and are approaching the decision of which plot of land to buy.
My husband and I are undecided but tend to prefer the plots in the east, as they cannot be built on and offer a beautiful view of nature. However, these plots slope downward to the east, meaning that in summer the sun would be gone around 6 p.m. The living room would be oriented to the east, while the kitchen and dining area would face southwest. Would this be a drawback for you? What is your opinion?
Thank you very much for your help!

Would this be a dealbreaker for you?Sunlight is very important to me, but everyone has to decide that for themselves. It also depends on other circumstances. For example, if I always finish work at 2 pm, I would still have plenty of sun hours available. If I only get home at 6 pm and the sun is already gone, that wouldn’t be good for my well-being. 🙂 It also depends on how the properties can be built on. Perhaps there are construction options to bring sunlight back into the area... We just don’t have enough information or conditions yet.
