I am planning to modify my Ikea Pax system for jewelry storage, as I need a clear and secure solution for my various jewelry pieces in addition to clothing. I am specifically wondering which interior fittings within the Pax system are best suited for storing jewelry, considering protection, organization, and accessibility. Are there particular modules, inserts, or maybe combinations that stand out because of their materials or design for rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets? It would also be interesting to know if anyone has practical experience with special drawer inserts or hanging systems that work especially well in the Pax. I built what’s called a ‘Pax jewelry organizer’: a VÄRDE drawer with velvet inserts for rings, and hanging rods for necklaces inside the door – really simple and looks great.
Important: the modules are flexible. If you want to change your jewelry layout, you can easily swap out the inserts.
My tip: start with just one or two drawer inserts before buying a complete system. That saves money and over time you’ll figure out what you really need.
