Onro52Hello everyone,
I am planning to modify my Ikea Pax system for jewelry storage, as I need a clear and secure solution for my various jewelry pieces in addition to clothing. I am specifically wondering which interior fittings within the Pax system are best suited for storing jewelry, considering protection, organization, and accessibility. Are there particular modules, inserts, or maybe combinations that stand out because of their materials or design for rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets? It would also be interesting to know if anyone has practical experience with special drawer inserts or hanging systems that work especially well in the Pax. I would really appreciate any tips on specific products, customizations, and practical handling!

In my opinion, many people misunderstand its purpose because they believe only expensive drawer units can properly protect jewelry – that’s completely wrong!
If you choose the right inserts, like narrow VÄRDE drawers with suitable dividers, the Pax, with its large dimensions, can actually offer convenience.
I would also support the idea that often less is more – so instead of overcrowding it with dozens of inserts, it’s better to use individual modules selectively. A well-planned hanging solution, for example for necklaces, can also work well in the Pax. Is it always the best solution? Well, that depends on the specific storage needs.
For jewelry, I recommend the VÄRDE or TJUSIG drawer inserts. These are specifically designed to store small items securely.
Drawers with multiple compartments help to separate rings and earrings. Additionally, jewelry can be hung on hooks or small hanging systems inside the Pax wardrobe to prevent tangling.

The question of suitable Pax interior fittings for jewelry storage first requires a precise analysis of the jewelry pieces: are they mainly small items like rings and earrings, or rather bulky bracelets and long necklaces?
I recommend a combination of the following components:
- VÄRDE drawer inserts with compartments for rings and small earrings, as these minimize slipping and provide clear organization.
- TJUSIG hanging storage, which is excellent for sorting necklaces. It can be attached to the inside of the door, making it ideal for saving space.
- Additionally, SAMLA boxes with lids are suitable for safely protecting especially delicate pieces from dust and light.
Modularity is important, as jewelry usually comes in different sizes and shapes. The right combination of drawers and door solutions creates order and protects against tangling or loss.
I am interested in which types of jewelry you specifically want to store?

I'm curious, what types of jewelry do you specifically want to store?Good question! Mainly, I have small to medium-sized rings, leather and metal bracelets, longer necklaces, and some stud earrings, sometimes larger earrings as well. I want to keep the rings separated and easily accessible, and store the necklaces in a way that prevents tangling.
Security is also a factor since I plan to place the Pax in the bedroom and want to protect the jewelry from pets or children. Therefore, a solution with lockable compartments or at least sturdy drawers would be ideal.

I want to keep rings separate and easily accessible, and store chains in a way that prevents tangling. For your needs, a combination of VÄRDE drawer inserts and TJUSIG hanging rollers is ideal.
The VÄRDE inserts have small compartments for rings and earrings, which help avoid clutter.
The TJUSIG hanging solution, which can be mounted directly on the inside of a cabinet door, reliably helps to keep chains untangled and visible.
Additionally, I would recommend lining the drawers with soft fabric or velvet inserts to prevent scratches.
A lockable door is unfortunately not standard with Pax, but appropriate padlocks or locking systems can be added afterwards.
