for our garage extension, we need an entrance door. There are these affordable steel doors and insulated doors with the same look as the sectional garage door. We haven’t seen either of these doors in person, as none were installed in the garage showroom near us. Is a thin steel door sufficient, or would you not recommend it? What did you choose?

For us, it will be installed on the side, about 7 meters (23 feet) from the front of the garage.
The insulated Hörmann door is, of course, much more expensive and is expected to cost about 400 euros more for us.
