Hello,
Since the landscaping contractor will start in September and will completely design our outdoor area, only this one corner remains.
One side is open towards the neighbor, and I would like to have it closed off. It should look nice and not be too expensive. Do you have any ideas?
Best regards, Moni

I have the Fargesia Jiuzhaigou 1

Since it belongs to the bamboo species Fargesia, which does not produce rhizomes, it does not require a rhizome barrier, according to a nursery.

You still used containers. Was that due to bad experience or just as a precaution?

It fit better on the terrace with the other pots.

Bamboo flowers approximately every 80-130 years and then dies. The last flowering of Fargesia happened over 20 years ago, so there are at least another 60 years until the next bloom—you don’t need to worry about your bamboo dying anytime soon. A Fargesia does not require a rhizome barrier, as it grows in clumps. However, if it is planted in full sun, a Fargesia (except for the Rufas variety) tends to curl its leaves significantly and will also need a lot of water.

Best regards
