Hello everyone, I recently started assembling some IKEA Hemnes furniture, and although the instructions are fairly detailed, I sometimes struggle with certain small tricks that would make the assembly much easier. So my question to you is: What tips or simple methods do you know to make assembling Hemnes furniture more efficient and less stressful? I appreciate any advice, whether it’s about tools, preparation, or the assembly process.

Very good, as has already been said! I would add: A rubber mallet is your best friend. If anchors don’t go in right away, a gentle tap helps without causing any damage. And really take your time – Ikea furniture may be modular, but with Hemnes you shouldn’t rush.

Exactly, the rubber mallet prevents damage to the wooden components. Additionally, I recommend temporarily securing mainly vertical elements with sturdy clamps or wedges. This way, no parts will fall over during assembly, and you can work more safely.

Hey! I love it when everything runs smoothly, so my advice is: Use small bowls or ice cube trays to keep the many screws and small parts separated during assembly. This way, you won’t lose anything and stay well organized. If you get stuck: Just take a deep breath and start again – every project is more successful when you enjoy it! 😊

To summarize your question: The key is a structured approach, checking all parts, using the right tools, and careful preparation. Finally, be patient—that always pays off!
