I’m wondering what kind of cover this actually is. The narrow outer part is the plaster profile, but what is the purpose of the wide inner cover? If it’s a casing for a venetian blind, there’s nothing to roll up like with a roller shutter, so it’s actually strange to choose such a wide opening. But it is what it is, and it’s not a problem. I would paint it in the wall color since plastering would result in the same appearance but would be more costly.

that is the Bero roller shutter box.I’m not familiar with Bero boxes. If you have thick masonry walls (425mm (17 inches), 490mm (19 inches)), it might just be an extension of the cover trim. But it doesn’t really matter. Just paint both trims in the facade color, and they will blend in.A
