Hello everyone,
which documents, protocols, or reports related to the electrical installation need to be handed over to the client after commissioning in a newly built house?
The electrician was contracted by the general contractor. There were some measurement issues during the electrical inspection. Since then, I have not heard anything or received any documentation regarding the electrical installation in our new home. Is there a requirement to provide any documents? Or is it mandatory to prepare documentation? Since I became the operator of the electrical system upon handover of the house by the general contractor, what rights do I have to obtain which documents?
Thank you

Ok. Thanks. We have been living in the house for almost a year now, and I am still waiting for the documents as well as the labeling of the fuse box. (I have taken care of that myself in the meantime)...
Without putting pressure on, nothing at all will come in the next 10 years either.

No.

For your own records, yes. For you personally: no.

Operator of the electrical system

As the owner of a single-family house, you are not considered the operator of an electrical system—even if your house has an electrical panel with circuit breakers.

Does that mean I do not have the right to receive the meeting minutes? That can't be correct??

If the homeowner is not supposed to be the operator, then who is the operator?

I should have the right to see that the electrical system has been properly inspected, shouldn’t I? Strange topic.

Even if nothing was agreed upon in the contract, you are entitled to an inspection report according to DIN VDE 0100-600, as @In der Ruine already mentioned above. In my opinion, however, there are no legal regulations regarding the minimum scope of documentation. Try searching for "documentation of electrical installations" or check elektropraktiker de; if I remember correctly, there was a page about this.
