Hello,

we are currently working on our initial planning attempts. Maybe some experts have a few tips that one might not usually consider. It is important to us that only the ground floor is suitable to live in when we are older. We are still quite unsure about the staircase planning.

Any criticism or other suggestions are welcome.

At least the hierarchy is clear. Child 1 gets direct access to the loggia... but why? This has the downside of surprising the parents on Sunday mornings with certain topics... brr...

Child 2, on the other hand, gets less square meters and also ends up with an awkward corner for the storage room within the bedroom 😀

Unfortunately, nothing is age-appropriate either. Take a look at the size of a typical accessible bathroom for people with disabilities. The staircase is probably too narrow for a lift as well. You also need to consider access to the upper floor if you only live on the ground floor.

You could easily optimize away 20% of the space, because you won’t have the budget for this palace. And if you do have it, I wonder why this isn’t being designed by a (star) architect but done by you alone...
