Hello everyone,

I am currently planning the interior finishing. The walls will be handed over with Q2 plaster.

My idea is as follows:
- Smooth the walls as much as possible, but without too much effort
- Apply painter's fleece on top (Erfurt Variovlies V180 or V200S)
- Then paint with Brillux paint

What do you think? I would apply the adhesive to the wall and then stick the fleece edge to edge.

I would appreciate any feedback.

If you’re going to apply two coats anyway, get the paint from Toom for €25 for 10 liters (2.6 gallons). You can also buy the primer there, 10 liters (2.6 gallons) for €9.99.

Buy a sanding pole sander instead of renting one. It’s cheaper in the long run. Use sanding mesh instead of discs. Two packs are enough for the whole house. Your wet/dry vacuum needs bags; otherwise, it will clog immediately. Get a putty knife that can be scraped down to zero and a plastering cup (rubber cup, easy to clean).

You always need to do some filling, even if it’s just the dents from when Olleg bashed the ladder against the wall.

Wear a dust mask, ear protection, and goggles while sanding.

Buy good acrylic sealant, for example, the Würth brand on eBay. There are also cordless caulking guns if you don’t feel like sealing 200 meters (650 feet) of joints by hand.

And check out my “Ode” to the Bosch tool in the other thread.
