I am currently considering whether adding an attached vestibule makes sense. This could allow for a more open interior layout and provide protection against the cold. Does the vestibule need to be built with the same wall thickness as the rest of the house?
Thanks and best regards, Bromi

I don’t know much about this whole topic – I just know that my acquaintance was at the architect’s last week, and he advised against having a vestibule, even though she really wants one.
He said, “Nowadays you don’t need it anymore because front doors are 1000% airtight!”
She replied, “But not if my kids occasionally leave the door open…!”
That’s all I can contribute on this subject. 🙂
