Hello,
about a month ago, we bought an old farmhouse that we want to modernize.
Our original plan was to install underfloor heating in the living room (a gas boiler is already installed) and to add a fireplace.
However, a major problem has come up. When we removed the floorboards, we realized that we probably don’t have enough space to install the underfloor heating system.

On one side, we have a height of 140 mm (5.5 inches) available for the heating system, but on the other side, only about 60–70 mm (2.4–2.8 inches).
This is because from about the middle of the living room, the basement starts, and here we are already hitting the basement ceiling.

Now I would like to know if anyone can tell me whether there are any new products or systems available that allow installing underfloor heating with such a low build-up height.

Or maybe someone has another great suggestion for me, as I’m quite perplexed right now.
