I have the Framtid with a ceramic cooktop.
I would now like to place a stove cover plate on it for protection. However, as soon as you put something on the cooktop, it starts beeping and doesn’t stop.
Is there a way to disable this?

Somehow, what you’re saying doesn’t seem right; it probably doesn’t work at all.
My rubber feet do not touch the control panel or the cooking surface:

IKEA-Experte11 Jan 2013 20:18No one here will be able to answer that for you, as none of us are Bauknecht technicians. If such a part exists, it will be shown in the wiring diagram. Whether Bauknecht / Whirlpool will sell you one, you will need to ask them directly.
