Hello dear home builders and experts,
This is certainly a difficult topic, but unfortunately, I couldn’t find any experience reports online. A friend mentioned to me that kitchens in Turkey are supposed to be much cheaper. Of course, “much cheaper” is a very general statement, and quality comes at a price, plus he only heard this through third parties. Nevertheless, I did some research, and the furniture industry in Turkey seems to be quite large. Also, given the inflation, this sounds plausible at first. I also found a website that appears to be reputable. What puzzles me is that there is very little other information available on this topic.
Does anyone have experience with this? Any other tips regarding kitchen purchases are also welcome.
Good luck

Only the oldest people here still know wooden furniture. Personally, I don’t consider myself that old...
Otherwise, I agree with your post 100%. When it comes to finding and hiring local craftsmen, I’m usually quite alone even within my circle of acquaintances. Everyone else seems to choose based on price alone...

I did some research anyway, and the furniture industry in Turkey seems to be large. It’s not just that it seems large; it actually is very large. Especially in Turkey, you need to be very careful with furniture—there are definitely significant quality differences.
I visit family in Turkey 2-3 times a year, and I would never consider buying furniture, especially a kitchen, without seeing it in person first.
For a 20% saving, I wouldn’t deal with the hassle, especially as a foreigner. Who handles communication if you have questions? Who takes care of complaints? How are warranty or guarantee issues resolved? For me, and it has been my experience, the savings are never worth it.

A quick tip. Küchenlagerverkauf24 Bad Lippspringe. Igor Schermer. They offer new German brand kitchens for 4000 euros. Might be a bit closer than Ankara. Thanks for the tip, slightly closer.
