Probably something regional from Hohenlohe, Franconia, Swabia, or similar.

I just asked. I’m not allowed yet. It should stay in the garage for now, since apparently it’s only the fourth Sunday of Advent, she said.

For us, it's the exact opposite. I would prefer to put up the tree as early as the first Sunday of Advent because then I can enjoy it longer, but "he, my much better half" wants to set it up only a few days before Christmas at the earliest.
