Hello,
I have been a silent reader for a while and have already received some interesting information. Since our construction is planned to start in September, we have now received individual quotes from the different trades.
We are still uncertain about the heating system. The initial offer includes a gas heating system with storage tank, and as an alternative, a ground source heat pump. A gas connection is available, as the existing house will be demolished and a new building constructed.
There are no questions regarding the gas heating, but there are some concerns about the heat pump. The heating company proposes:
- Vaillant flexotherm 4.63 VWF117/4 exclusive
- Solar module VR70
- Vaillant allSTOR exclusiv VPS 800/3-7
- Vaillant aquaFLOW exclusive VPM 20/25/2W
Now my question is: Does this setup make sense? On one hand, a heat pump, plus solar thermal—which was originally intended only for the gas heating—then an instantaneous water heater and the hot water storage tank, which is necessary. Okay, with the hot water, we probably would never have any issues and could fill a pool with it.
The house is approximately 130m² (1400 sq ft), with ground floor and attic floor, and no basement.
Maybe one of you can explain this to me.
Thanks
Regards,
Marco

I have also seen the 11kW option. I think 6kW should be sufficient for this size.
I will definitely get some other quotes as well.
