Hello,

I have a new faucet, but unfortunately, I can’t fully fit it into the sink hole.

Is there something I should have considered when purchasing it?

What’s the issue exactly?
Is the hole too small, or is there something underneath causing the hoses to catch?
Is it with or without the pull-out shower head?
Have you read the description?

I will make a bold statement: If the tap is too large, the hole is too small.

So, simply enlarge the hole!

With a pull-out spray or without?

The hoses are catching on the metal parts. They’re even a bit frayed from being pressed.

By "metal things," do you mean the end fittings of the flexible hoses?
Could they possibly be screwed on as well?
Maybe try unscrewing one and then see if you can reattach it from underneath?

In the picture, the hole looks large enough.
I also don’t understand why the pipes are being squeezed.
Have you looked up from underneath the sink to see if something might be in the way, for example, if the countertop cutout isn’t big enough?
