Hello everyone,
Today our front door was installed.
I noticed that the lock cylinder is set quite far INSIDE the door.
Is this correct? Or did the door installer fit a lock that is too short?

Inside, a rotary knob is installed.

The response arrived today. The rotating knob was accidentally installed on the wrong end of the lock cylinder (allegedly at the factory?!) and was therefore installed the wrong way around.

A new lock cylinder will be ordered, and then the installers will come by again.

This happens when interior and exterior measurements are swapped during ordering. In other words, someone measured or recorded the dimensions incorrectly.

"DIN" left or right refers to the hinge side. Unfortunately, I have also seen this with orders handled by supposed professionals.

Exactly my point. It happens quickly, but it’s not a big deal.
