Hello,
we are planning to build and are strongly leaning towards a Swedish-style house. Depending on the supplier, we really like the different concepts. A short construction time is also an important factor for us.
Question: What are your experiences with Swedish-style houses?
And: Maybe someone can recommend a supplier based on the idea: "I would build with them again."

Thanks for your answers

I would also like to clarify: the neighbor’s standard gutters are metal, aluminum, painted. Titanium zinc costs extra, but PVC is not standard; it only looks like that because of the paint. I talked with him about the "fence" yesterday. He had also seen the Eksjöfilm and is very satisfied with his house.

Hello,
we built a bungalow with 137m³ (4,839 ft³) of living space with Talis in 2016/17. The contract, selection of materials, and even changes—sometimes made at very short notice—were accepted without complaint and promptly implemented. The process on Talis’ side was very well planned and well thought out. Every appointment was kept. What we did not like was the assembly team. They were not employees of Talis but a construction company from... no idea... carrying out orders from Talis. The importance of cleanliness and order on the construction site was completely unknown to these gentlemen. Complaining to the site manager was possible but didn’t achieve anything. Only after we complained directly to Talis did things improve. We have now been living in our new home for about 1.5 years and have not had any major problems—only occasional minor issues that I fixed myself. What I don’t really like, however, is that Talis does not conduct a final building inspection—the company seems very confident that there will be no complaints.
If I were to build a wooden house again, I would choose Talis once more.
