Hello everyone, I have a quote here for the work mentioned above and I’m wondering if it’s reasonable, it seems a bit too high to me 🙁 The cost is supposed to be 1,755.25€ including VAT.
What have you paid for similar work?
Thanks in advance.

P.S. It is a simple single-family house to be built with a garage, on a concrete slab foundation without a basement. The plot is flat and was previously a green meadow.

Not sure exactly what this is 😀
We paid about 600 € for a soil survey including foundation recommendations.
Has the location of the house already been decided? It might also depend on the site conditions, and yours sounds like more than just boreholes.

Hello, I have now gathered a few more quotes. Wow, the prices vary significantly. One contractor wanted 600€ (only two drillings), while another asked for 950€ (comparable to the offer listed above). The middle-priced one was awarded the contract. What’s a bit strange is that the most expensive contractor was from the same town, less than 4km (2.5 miles) from the site, while the other two came from about 60km (37 miles) away. So, “comparison makes wealthy” proved true once again.

Hello, together with our semi-detached neighbors we paid 1178 € in total. This included, among other things, 3 driven core drillings down to a final depth of 6m (20 feet) and 3 heavy driven core drillings.
