I often hear that homeowners place a high value on a straight staircase. My husband also initially insisted on a straight staircase. But why exactly? I don’t understand it at all. What is the advantage? I actually find curved lines and arches much more attractive. Can someone please explain this to me?
I’d say most people need a tool to overcome simple height differences several times a day but rarely want to show off their sequin dress on a show staircase. In that sense, a standard basic model is usually sufficient (I’m of course referring to 18.5/26).

In that sense, a regular standard 08/15 (I of course mean 18.5/26) is sufficient. You think so? For us, the staircase was a real luxury. We definitely didn’t want something standard or just a simple height difference solution.
