Hello,

I originally assumed that the collectors would be installed on the house roof. However, since there is no south-facing side, I was told to expect a loss of about 30%. The pipes would also have to be routed externally, as it was not planned otherwise. I really don’t like the solution on the carport at all. So far, the system is only temporarily placed there. Even though I don’t expect any changes due to the homeowner’s personal preference, I would still like to hear your opinions. Is there a better option? Any alternatives?

Regards,
Robin

Do you want it to be attractive or efficient? From an efficiency and ecological perspective, I don't care at all.

We mounted our entire flat roof with photovoltaic panels. You get used to it.

I don’t find the solution on the carport that bad at all. It almost disappears from two directions behind the white roof trim. Will it also be attached on the side facing forward in the line of sight?

I don’t find that bad either. By the way, the house color is nice.

So the roof is mostly finished; the white trim just conceals the slope. Only aluminum strips will be added to the sides. From the street side, you can see the peak of the structure, while only a small part of the substructure is visible. That’s still acceptable. You’re probably right, and I’ll get used to it. When the structure suddenly appeared, I was a bit startled, but that will settle down.

The color choice was naturally made by my wife. I wouldn’t have dared to choose it myself...

Whenever you see it, just think "It saves money, gas, oil, whatever, and is good for the environment. Thanks!" Three months later, you’ll be laughing at it.
