ᐅ Small Gifts for the Construction Team at the Topping-Out Ceremony

I’m not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I couldn’t find any other section where this topic would fit well.

We have our framework raising ceremony / topping-out ceremony on Saturday. As far as I know, the construction team usually receives a small gift then.

My question is: what is the typical price range for that, and is it usually just an envelope with money, or have you given a small, appropriate gift?

I’d appreciate any experiences and ideas you have. (Preferably things that can still be arranged by Saturday.)

That sounds great! We were also surprised because we expected it differently. But even without any tradespeople, we had a really wonderful celebration. And the gas grill was fired up in the bathroom 😀

Our topping-out ceremony was more or less expected ;-)
But we wanted to do it anyway. At the request of the construction team and the boss, our topping-out ceremony will be held on Saturday evening, and the craftsmen are allowed to bring their wives. In the afternoon, our house will be visited by some interested parties from the plant joiner, so there will probably still be a few leftovers.

At our place, the topping-out tree was decorated with items for the carpenters (bandanas, belts, etc.), and after the topping-out speech, the carpenters went to the tree and each took something for themselves.

Everyone benefits from the topping-out celebration (if you have a good relationship with the tradespeople, many things become easier).
