Hello everyone,

I’d like to get your opinion. My shared apartment urgently needs a new shelf for the kitchen—otherwise, someone might actually get hurt one day when pots fall out of the overcrowded cabinets every time the door is opened.

But we have a small decision problem. So far, my flatmates have only said things like, “Yeah, a shelf… well, something with shelves would be nice.” Yep. OK. So I’ve decided to just buy one myself and take it with me when I move out later.

The problem is, I’m just as indecisive as my flatmates.

The options are:
Laxvik: I find it very stylish, but I’m unsure how quickly it might get scratched since it has glass shelves.
Lerberg: I already have this one as a bookcase, but I’m undecided if it’s really suitable for the kitchen.
Albert: hmm – classic – simple – wood

OK – which one would you choose for your (student) kitchen?

😀 Another advantage of the LERBERG, I think it is the lightest of all the options suggested..

So – the decision in the shared apartment has been made. And the winner is: FJUS. :p

My suggestions didn’t win, but I did manage to convince everyone to generously clear out the cupboards and finally throw away food items that have been expired for more than 12 months (1 year). So, a win for me after all! 😎

And I think FJUS looks good too – it’s amazing what you can do with a basement kitchen when you put a little love into it....
